Events by Ashé has been curating Caribbean Carnival travel experiences for over 15 years. Since our founding, we’ve taken hundreds of women — and a few smart men — to experience Trinidad Carnival, Barbados Crop Over, and Grenada Spicemas in the way it was always meant to be experienced: fully handled, deeply curated, and completely unforgettable.

Over fifteen years in this space means we know every promoter, every mas band, every hotel, and every hidden moment that makes a Carnival week extraordinary. That knowledge is what you’re investing in when you travel with us.

Yes. Events by Ashé holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau — one of the most recognised and respected business trust indicators in North America. We are also TRUE accredited by the CCRA — a globally recognised credential in the travel industry that reflects our commitment to professional standards and best practices in travel curation.

We have also been featured in Travel Noire, National Geographic, Travel + Leisure, and We Buy Black — some of the most respected names in travel media.

Events by Ashé currently offers fully curated 7-night premium packages for three of the Caribbean’s most celebrated Carnival experiences:

Ultimate Trinidad Carnival — the original Caribbean Carnival, held annually in Port of Spain, Trinidad in February/March. Featuring J’ouvert, frontline mas, premium fêtes including Lime at the Hyatt, and the full Trinidad Carnival experience handled end to end.

Ultimate Crop Over — Barbados’s world-famous Carnival celebration, held annually in late July and early August. Featuring the Kadooment Parade ending at the beach, Foreday Morning, a private Sandy Lane villa, and a private airport escort experience from the moment you land.

Ultimate Spicemas — Grenada’s deeply cultural and intimate Carnival experience, held annually in August. Featuring Monday Night Mas with its spectacular lighting experience, J’ouvert and the Jab Jab tradition, and a beachfront all-inclusive villa.

Visit each destination page to explore the full package inclusions, or book your Dream Carnival Call to discuss which experience is the right fit for you

Our packages are primarily designed for and marketed to women — the high-achieving professional woman who wants the full Caribbean Carnival experience, completely handled. The overwhelming majority of our Fram-a-lay community is women, and our group dynamic, our bonuses, and our Carnivalista Transformation experience are all built with her in mind.

That said, men are absolutely welcome to travel with Events by Ashé. Every year, men join our Fram-a-lay at every destination and have an incredible time. If you’re a man interested in travelling with us, book a Dream Carnival Call and let’s talk — we’d love to have you

The Carnivalista Lifestyle Community is Events by Ashé’s exclusive client portal — your home base from the moment you register until long after you return home.

Once you’re registered for any EBA experience, you’ll have access to a growing library of resources inside the portal including cultural guides for your destination · trip preparation content · packing lists and travel hacks · itinerary updates · health and safety resources · members-only webinars and exclusive Carnivalista lifestyle content that keeps the community connected between Carnival seasons.

The portal is separate from — and in addition to — your WhatsApp Community Forum. Together, the two form EBA’s complete client community ecosystem: the portal for resources, content and real-time connection with your Fram-a-lay (in WhatsApp too) and the webinars for live preparation and meet and greet sessions with your EBA ambassadors.

Access to the Carnivalista Lifestyle Community is included in all three EBA destination packages — Ultimate Trinidad Carnival, Ultimate Crop Over, and Ultimate Spicemas.

Booking & Payments

Everything you need to know about securing your spot, payment options, and policies

There are two ways to get started:

Book a Dream Carnival Call — a complimentary conversation with our team where we’ll walk you through the experience, answer your questions, and help you determine which destination and package is the right fit for you.

Or call us at (919) 697-8772 to discuss next steps.

From there, registration is completed online. You’ll fill out our registration form and make your deposit to officially secure your spot. Spots are limited and our packages have a history of selling out — so if a destination is calling your name, the best time to act is now!

Pricing for our packages is shared during your Dream Carnival Call — this allows us to walk you through the full experience, explain exactly what’s included, and ensure the package is the right fit before discussing investment. All prices are in US dollars and vary depending on your room occupancy choice — single, double, or triple.

To get full pricing details for any destination, book your Dream Carnival Call and we’ll cover everything.

Your occupancy choice determines how many people share your room — and affects your per-person investment.

Single occupancy means you have a private room entirely to yourself. This is the most spacious and private option and carries a single supplement on top of the base per-person rate.

Double occupancy means you share a room with one other person. Depending on the destination, rooms are available with two double beds or a king bed. This is a popular option for friends travelling together or couples.

Triple occupancy means three people share a room — typically two double beds between three travelers. This is the best value per person and works beautifully for groups of friends travelling together.

We do not offer quadruple occupancy. If your group has a fourth person, we’re happy to match them with a roommate in a separate double-occupancy room with 2 beds — just have them note “need a roommate” when they register.

Yes. Our Easy Payment Plan allows you to secure your spot with a deposit and spread your remaining balance across monthly payments leading up to your travel date. The deposit amount and payment schedule vary by destination.

All payments are accepted via PayPal, which accepts all major credit cards and debit cards internationally. Full payment plan details for each destination will be shared during your Dream Carnival Discovery Call.

Please note: all final payments must be received by the deadline specified for your destination — no exceptions. Accounts not in good standing are not eligible for refunds.

All payments are processed via PayPal, which accepts all major credit cards and debit cards internationally — including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. You do not need a PayPal account to pay; you can check out as a guest using your card directly.

All prices are in US dollars. International clients will see the equivalent amount in their local currency at the time of payment based on current exchange rates.

We do not offer group discounts. However, if you have previously travelled with Events by Ashé, you are eligible for a returning traveller discount of $100 off your package price at any destination. Simply complete your registration and make your deposit — we’ll apply your credit in our accounting system automatically.

If you’re bringing a group of friends who are all new to EBA, each person registers individually and secures their own spot. We’ll coordinate roommate matching and group logistics on our end.

Yes — and we love welcoming back our Fram-a-lay. If you have previously travelled with Events by Ashé on any destination package, you are eligible for a $100 returning traveller discount off your next package price.

The discount applies automatically — simply complete your registration and make your deposit at any destination and we’ll apply your $100 credit in our system. No coupon code needed.

We love working with travel agents and welcome group bookings through travel agent partners. If you’re a travel agent interested in registering a group with Events by Ashé, please book a Dream Carnival Call and we’ll walk you through the group registration process and answer any questions you have

Our packages are carefully curated and kept consistent for all travellers — this is what allows us to deliver the high-touch, seamlessly handled experience our Fram-a-lay expects. We are unable to add, remove, or substitute individual elements from the standard package inclusions.

If you have specific questions about what is and isn’t included in a particular destination package, book a Dream Carnival Call and we’ll walk you through every detail. If you have a specific need or circumstance — a dietary requirement, a mobility consideration, or a special occasion — reach out to us and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate you within the scope of the experience.

If you need to discuss a booking transfer, please reach out to our team directly through the Carnivalista Lifestyle Community client portal. As a registered traveller, you already have access — simply send us a message through the portal and a member of our team will respond to discuss your options.

Transfer eligibility, any associated fees, and the process for transferring your spot to another traveller are handled on a case-by-case basis and subject to availability and the terms and conditions of your registration agreement. The earlier you reach out, the more options we have available to help you.

Cancellations & Policy

We believe in transparent policies. Here’s everything you need to know before you register.

We understand that life happens — and we’ve structured our refund policy to be as fair as possible while protecting the integrity of the experience for all registered travellers.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Verbal cancellations and cancellations submitted through any channel other than written communication are not accepted. Accounts not in good standing — meaning one or more missed payments at the time of cancellation — are not eligible for refunds in any amount, regardless of cancellation timing. Refund amounts are based on the sale price of the trip and do not include transaction fees or other related charges.

Refund schedules vary by destination and are tied to specific dates that reflect when non-recoverable costs are incurred on your behalf. For the specific refund schedule for your destination, visit the relevant destination page and scroll to the booking policy section:

Ultimate Trinidad Carnival
Ultimate Crop Over
Ultimate Spicemas

In the unlikely event that a Carnival is cancelled by the relevant government — as occurred during the pandemic — Events by Ashé will offer registered travellers a set of options designed to protect their investment. These typically include the ability to redirect payments toward a future EBA experience, transfer to an alternative destination package, or receive a full refund less any irrecoverable costs incurred.

The specific options available in the event of a government cancellation are outlined in the terms and conditions of your registration agreement, which you will receive upon registration. If you have questions about this policy before registering, book a Dream Carnival Call and we’ll walk you through it.

No. Accounts that are not in good standing — meaning one or more missed or outstanding payments at the time of cancellation — are not eligible for refunds in any amount, regardless of when the cancellation is submitted.

Keeping your account in good standing throughout your Easy Payment Plan is essential. If you anticipate any difficulty with a scheduled payment, please reach out to our team through the Carnivalista Lifestyle Community client portal before the payment is due — we will always do our best to work with you proactively.

While we handle every detail of your Carnival experience on the ground, travel insurance protects your investment against circumstances outside our control — including flight cancellations, medical emergencies, trip interruptions, and unforeseen personal circumstances that may prevent you from travelling.

We do not require proof of travel insurance as a condition of booking, and we do not partner with or recommend specific insurance providers. We encourage you to research and select a policy that best fits your personal needs and travel circumstances. Key coverage areas to look for include:

Trip cancellation and interruption
Medical coverage abroad
Emergency evacuation
Baggage protection

If you have questions about travel insurance as a registered traveller, reach out to our team through the Carnivalista Lifestyle Community client portal and we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.

Travel Logistics

Practical guidance for international Caribbean Carnival travel — flights, documents, currency, and more.

For the majority of our packages, flights are not included. All three of our core destination packages — Ultimate Trinidad Carnival, Ultimate Crop Over, and Ultimate Spicemas — are land-only packages. You are responsible for purchasing your own round-trip international flights to and from each destination.

The one exception is our Tobago Love Upgrade — the optional add-on to the Ultimate Trinidad Carnival 7-night Premium Experience. The Tobago Love Upgrade includes a round-trip inter-island flight between Trinidad and Tobago as part of the upgrade package.

Airport codes for reference:

Trinidad — POS (Piarco International Airport)
Barbados — BGI (Grantley Adams International Airport)
Grenada — GND (Maurice Bishop International Airport)

We recommend booking flights as early as possible — Caribbean Carnival season is one of the busiest travel periods of the year and prices rise significantly as the dates approach. Your Digital Travel Guide, included in all EBA packages, contains flight booking tips and timing recommendations specific to each destination.

For all three destinations — Trinidad, Barbados, and Grenada — the requirements for most of our travellers are the same: a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining beyond your travel date, and a return or onward ticket.

Trinidad: US, Canadian, UK, and most Caribbean citizens do not require a visa for stays of up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your departure date from Trinidad.

Barbados: US, Canadian, UK, and most Caribbean citizens do not require a visa for tourist stays. Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay.

Grenada: US, Canadian, UK, and most Caribbean citizens do not require a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your departure date.

Travel document requirements can change. We always recommend checking the official entry requirements for your specific country of citizenship with the relevant embassy or consulate before travelling. Your EBA Digital Travel Guide includes destination-specific entry guidance updated for your travel year.

Most of our travellers — citizens of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Caribbean nations — do not require a visa to enter Trinidad, Barbados, or Grenada for tourist stays.

However, visa requirements vary by citizenship and can change. We strongly recommend verifying the entry requirements for your specific passport with the relevant embassy or high commission before travelling. If you have questions about entry requirements for your destination, schedule a call with us and we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.

Health and vaccination requirements for Caribbean destinations vary and can change — particularly in response to global health events. At the time of writing, no vaccination is required to enter Trinidad, Barbados, or Grenada for most travellers. However, we always recommend checking current entry requirements with the official health authority of your destination country before travelling.

Yellow Fever vaccination may be required if you are travelling from or have recently transited through a Yellow Fever endemic country — please check the specific requirements for your routing.

We also recommend consulting your personal physician or a travel health clinic before any international travel to discuss destination-specific health recommendations, including routine vaccinations and any advisories relevant to the Caribbean region. Your EBA Digital Travel Guide includes health and safety resources specific to your destination and travel year.

Please let us know at the time of registration or as soon as possible thereafter. While our packages are curated and consistent for all travellers, we want to ensure your safety and comfort throughout your experience — and knowing your needs in advance allows our ambassador team to make informed decisions on the ground.

For dietary restrictions: many of the all-inclusive events and meals included in our packages can accommodate common dietary needs. The more specific information you share with us, the better prepared your ambassador team will be.

For medical conditions: please ensure you travel with any required medications and that your travel insurance covers any pre-existing conditions. If your condition may affect your ability to participate in specific elements of the experience — particularly J’ouvert or the Carnival parade — please discuss this with us before registering so we can set accurate expectations.

Registered travellers can reach out to our team directly through the Carnivalista Lifestyle Community client portal. If you haven’t yet registered, schedule a call with us to discuss your needs before booking.

Yes — and this is one of the questions we’re most passionate about answering, because solo female travel to Caribbean Carnival is exactly what Events by Ashé was built for.

Travelling solo to an unfamiliar country for a high-energy, multi-day Carnival can feel daunting. That’s precisely why we exist. When you travel with EBA, you are never actually solo — you arrive as part of the Fram-a-lay, with an EBA ambassador team maintaining a ratio of no more than 1:10 throughout every event. Your ambassadors are with you from the moment you arrive to the final parade — knowing the venues, the routes, the mas bands, and the local landscape inside out.

Beyond our team, Trinidad, Barbados, and Grenada are all established, welcoming tourist destinations with strong Carnival traditions of inclusivity and community. Our travellers include a significant proportion of solo women every single year — many of whom meet their Fram-a-lay on the trip and return together year after year.

Safety is never an afterthought at Events by Ashé. It is built into every element of how we design and deliver our experiences.

As early as possible — and we mean that sincerely. Caribbean Carnival season coincides with peak travel demand, and flight prices to Trinidad, Barbados, and Grenada can increase significantly as dates approach.

As a general guide: for all three of our Caribbean Carnival destinations, we recommend monitoring and booking flights at least 9–12 months before your travel date. This means if you’re travelling for Trinidad Carnival in February or March, start monitoring flights no later than the February or March of the preceding year. The same applies to Barbados Crop Over and Grenada Spicemas in July and August — start watching from July or August of the year before.

Prices tend to spike significantly once Carnival dates are officially confirmed and promotional awareness builds in the market. Booking early protects you from that surge and gives you the widest selection of routing and seat options.

Your EBA Digital Travel Guide — included in all packages — contains destination-specific flight booking tips, including recommended booking windows, airport hub information, and airline routing guidance for travellers departing from the US, Canada, and the UK.

Each destination uses a different local currency:

Trinidad uses the Trinidad and Tobago Dollar (TTD). The exchange rate fluctuates but is generally approximately 6.7–6.8 TTD to 1 USD. US dollars are widely accepted at most venues and events.

Barbados uses the Barbadian Dollar (BBD), which is pegged to the US dollar at a fixed rate of 2 BBD to 1 USD. US dollars are accepted virtually everywhere in Barbados.

Grenada uses the Eastern Caribbean Dollar (XCD), which is shared across several Eastern Caribbean nations and pegged to the US dollar at approximately 2.70–2.90 XCD to 1 USD. US dollars are widely accepted.

Because most of the events, accommodation, and inclusions in your EBA package are all-inclusive, your need for local currency is minimal. Your Digital Travel Guide includes destination-specific currency and spending guidance.
