Why you’re not seeing results
Hey, it’s your girl Esha here and thanks for stopping by our blog, Carnivalista Lifestyle. And if you’re feeling a little like you’re not seeing the results that you’ve been expecting, then this blog is for you.
In terms of results, for the purpose of this blog, I will use other words to refer to the same thing. Some people refer to results as seeing a harvest or success or sales. Whatever resonates with you as you read this, feel free to substitute your chosen word(s), okay?
There have been several times during my life when I’ve felt like I wasn’t seeing the harvest that I was expecting. And upon further analysis and thought, I’ve come up with 2 reasons that may give you some insight into why you’re not seeing the results you’ve been hoping for.
Reason #1: you haven’t sown anything
We live in a world where many people want something for nothing. These people want everything quickly, without having sown the seeds to produce the harvest.
Don’t worry, I’ve been guilty of this too.
I’ve noticed that when I haven’t sown any seeds, take actions towards what I want or as I interpret it, “put in the work”, I usually don’t see the results. If you want a project to succeed or want sales to come to you, then a significant effort needs to be put in. Law of attraction experts call this the law of gestation a.k.a. you don’t get something for nothing.
I’m no expert here. And I’m definitely not advocating to work yourself to the bone or anything like that. However, I find when I put the right amount of effort in, I see results. Some people may call it luck or chance; I call it sowing the seeds.
Reason #2: you didn’t set an intention
Before starting a project where you’re expecting a harvest, whether it be financial or otherwise, did you set an intention? Oprah does this and so do many other successful people.
I’ve found that setting an intention for every project, every event and pretty much anything that I’m expecting a good financial outcome from, when I’ve taken the time to set a clear and specific intention, it’s been successful.
Whenever I’ve also taken the time to physically write that intention down AND add it to my vision board, it’s come to fruition too. This is all about focus and reminding yourself of your intent of outcome and what results you desire.
