Hello there! Warning, reading this will cause FOMO, immediately causing you to book your next trip to St. Lucia Carnival (stat)! We had such an amazing time in St. Lucia and although this recap is looooong ovahdue, here it is. As usual, we’ll recap De Good, De Bettah and De Best!
And first, a quick little recap video. Enjoy!
De Good of St. Lucia Carnival
- Our Chocolate Love Upgrade. Our clients are still talking about this! From the fantastic views of Petit Piton, to the natural, lush scenery of the property, to the Tree to Bar Tour and the sunset cruise, our visit to Rabot Hotel Chocolat was wonderful.
- Wait. We forgot to mention the Spa that uses chocolate in all of their treatments! Yep, you read that right. Our clients were completely pampered with chocolate treatments. Everyone was saying how amazing their skin felt after their treatments were completed.
- And then, there was the food. With an open air restaurant with a front row seat at Petit Piton and an open kitchen, a great meal was had every single time. Everything was so fresh and tasty. It was farm to table dining at its finest!
- A personal fave was the rain shower in the rooms. The rain shower was located in the ceiling and was about 1 square foot. You had the option to turn on a small square of cascading water, or turn on the full square foot of water. Imagine feeling like a new person every time you have a shower! It truly was a treat.
- Words truly can only say so much, so check out our videos of the room here and the view here.
- And we have amazing news! If you’d like to experience this Chocolate Love Upgrade on its own, you can. Our Ultimate Un-Carnival in 2025 will be the Chocolate Love Upgrade! To learn more about Ultimate Un-Carnival, click here.
De Bettah of Ultimate St. Lucia Carnival:
- The Flavors of St. Lucia Culinary Experience. This is the best cooking class we have ever taken! Not only was the food great, we cooked it. And we haven’t laughed so hard while cooking – ever!
- But, allow us to start at the beginning. It all started with a warm welcome with the staff and a lovely introduction. We were very happy to learn that the tour is conducted by a woman-owned business and right on their own property, which is beautifully maintained with many fruit trees on-site plus a herb garden. We got a guided tour of the property, with an education of the trees and plants located there along with their uses.
- Then, we were guided inside to view the local St. Lucian artifacts, complete with a gallery of artwork and photos of world-famous St. Lucians! Then, they hit us with the beautiful view out the back of the building. We could see the ocean and the lush greenery that St. Lucia is famous for!
- Next up, was the cooking class! Led by a professional chef, he made 3 courses with us in groups: an appetizer – the St. Lucian dish of green fig and saltfish, the main course – jerk chicken with tropical salsa and dessert – fresh, delicious fruit with homemade ice cream. We were all stuffed by the end of the meal and were presented with certificates!
And now for a little chupidness (sillyness)…
Here’s a short video of de shenanigans…so much fun. And yeah, this was de vibe for the entire class!
