Barbados travel dreaming – reason #1

Stopping by our blog to take a break?  Thanks for doing that!  Check out our Barbados travel dreaming – reason #1 below…

But, before we get to that, if you missed reasons #5 to #2, here yuh go!

Good to go?  Okay.  Let’s get into it.

Reason #1 – you need something to look forward to!

We’re gonna get real here.  For so many of us, our worlds have been turned upside down.  Coronavirus, COVID-19, face masks, toilet paper, social isolation, travel bans, closing of borders and quarantine have become everyday vocabulary words over the past few months.

And we’re stressed.

We need a little escape in order to get through.

Is it too much to ask for a little something to look forward to?

Looking forward to something fun is good for you!

According to Steven Handel on www.theemotionmachine.com, the power of anticipation can often help energize our lives, and even help us get through tough times.  He says, “When we find ourselves in those less-than-ideal present moments, having something to look forward to in the future can give us the motivation and persistence to keep moving forward even during those difficult times.”

We know that’s where we are and we sense you’re there too.

We’re looking forward to getting back to the Mount Gay Rum Factory in Barbados!

Hence Barbados travel dreaming reason #1.  We all need something to look forward to right now.

One thing we’re definitely looking forward to getting some Caribbean sunshine and partying next year 😉

And if you’d like to get travel back on your calendar in 2021, then our Ultimate Crop Over 2021 trip where we take you to experience Barbados Carnival is the best place to start.  It happens in August 2021 AND we plan it all for you!  So, you can use all that extra time that you have now for other things…like that banana bread recipe you’ve been wanting to try!
